Was born n Porto, Portugal in 1975 but is international at heart! Graduated in Design in E.S.A.D. Matosinhos, but soon realised that the passion for cradle to cradle objects as well as good designed environmental structures must have a stronger role in today’s society.
His work is studding and developing eco design objects and structures for the last 10 years and was soon recognized as a unique eye when it came to the new and the innovative. As more of the design community sought to share his design finds, Tomaz decided that he needed a platform to combine his love for eco design, sustainability and Mother Earth!
Design We Need was created in May 2013 and his vision of creating a single, high quality source of eco design information was realised. João Tomaz is the Editor in Chief and Public Relations Officer of designweneed.com

Brendan is from Australia; his studies include a Bachelor of Media & Communications and a Master Degree in International Politics. He has worked for more than 10 years in the areas of community development and environmental policy. Brendan has worked in Australia, the UK and Europe and has travelled extensively around the world.
Brendan has a passion for transforming regular ideas into remarkable and powerful visions. The idea of trying to ‘change the world’ has lost its meaning, particularly in respect to global environmental policies. The goal of any person concerned with the state of our world today should not aim to ‘change the world’ as such, but rather to offer a new idea that is so compelling that it begins a
conversation, brings the opposing person in as a participant, and eventually arrives at an outcome that appeals to both of you. This is real change.

pause and reflect.” ― Mark Twain
